Trail Stewardship Council Basics:
The Trail Stewardship Council was authorized by Public Law 111-11 (the Omnibus Public Lands Act of 2009) as a locally-based trail administrative structure to assist and support the leadership role the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) and Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) will continue to have in overall trail management and maintenance.
